Cooley is now head groundsman referred to as Alan Sugar due to all others being his apprentice. Served his time under Keith Dixon and now has a work staff of , kev james&ian beeston under close supervision. Works hard on the wicket and did once grace the wicket with his cricketing skills though has stopped as he was "crap". Tried umpiring but as seen at Ambleside in the 90's was worse than his playing days. Was rumoured he was going to live in the attic above the pavilion but no proof. Also works the bar and is one of the behind the scenes heroes that keeps village cricket teams going at our level.

Greavsy is no longer with Milnthorpe he now plies his trade up in the North East after he was forced to move away with his girlfriend for work reasons. Is most famous for phrases like "let me open" or "ill get you a ton" (3 weeks in a row) never got double figures. Used a toothpick for a bat hence he never got it off the square. Once tried to hook Cleator Moors pro big fast West Indian 1st ball top edged and was dropped never saw the next 2 deliveries believed he walked without touching the ball??? Threw down the occasional pastie believed to be Cornish (that's why it turned) Also famous for his fielding particularly v Heysham in the double winning season. Be good to see him back one day and playing again when his girlfriend lets him??
